Occupational Therapy Assistant

If you're interested in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program, follow the links at the side to watch videos about the profession, take a self-assessment to see if you have what it takes, learn about LBCC's program, and meet the faculty. This orientation may take 30-45 minutes to complete, so be sure you have sufficient time before starting.

If you decide that this is the program for you, be sure to view all of the content, then take the short quiz at the end to complete the orientation.

Traditional students: After you submit this final quiz, your student information will be sent to the Academic Planning Assistant, who will then enable you to register for LBCC classes. You will receive a notification email as soon as you are able to register. Please allow 2 business days for the Academic Planning Assistant to review your submission.

Distance Education students: Submitting this final quiz will alert the OTA department to expect your program application.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant program requires a separate application. You must follow all of the criteria and dates outlined in the program bulletin, including attaching copies of your self-assessment results and quiz results to your program application. This program accepts students based on a point system. If you are a Distance Education student, your school may have a different selection process. For more information, see the program bulletin. Please note that neither early, incomplete, nor late applications will be considered.
